The Rotary Club of Englewood was established in 1953 in Englewood, FL,.  One of our founding Members, Dr. John Flowers pictured here (right) with Club President Alfred Current,(left), still attends our weekly

meetings faithfully. 


We invite you to visit us at one of our weekly meetings, or attend one of our great community events.  Our club is comprised of local leaders with a commitment to "Service Above Self" in our community, our country, and throughout the world.

About Us

Englewood Elementary Dictionary Program
A dozen of our volunteers, along with a number teachers handed out dictionaries to every third grade student at Englewood Elementary School.  


Ringing in the holidays
Many volunteer came out over the holiday season ringing the bell at area Publix Supermarket.  


Relief for Tibet
Badly needed supplies  and funds were sent to victims of last years massive earthquake in Tibet.  Our club has prior ties to an orphanage there that was badly damaged and needed our support.


Water projects in Haiti 
After Haiti's massive earthquake Rotary District 6960 has been in contact with many local Rotary Clubs and Rotarians in Haiti.  Recently our club has been instrumental in providing water filtration systems that are self contained and off the grid.
